We arrange to meet at your hotel in Saigon and have a quick transfer to Cai Lay. Then back to Cai Be, where we’ll board a boat to Can Tho Island. We’ll spend some time visiting artisans; we’ll watch coconut candy making, rice paper making, and popcorn/ popped rice making. We’ll enjoy lunch on the island and explore the capital of the Mekong Delta. We’ll stay overnight in Can Tho.

Day 2 Can Tho - Chau Doc 35km+ cycling (B, L)

After a very early breakfast, you will take a boat trip to the famous Cai Rang floating market before riding on to Phong Dien. There, you’ll have a short transfer until we begin cycling toward Chau Doc. Along the way, you’ll see rice fields and water buffalos near the road. We will arrive in Chau Doc around sunset; those with energy to spare can climb Sam Mountain for a remarkable view. We’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 3 Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B)

After an early breakfast, we’ll catch a boat up the Mekong River to Phnom Penh. Once arriving at the pier at Chaudoc, you will say goodbye to your tour guide and bike and cruise up the Bassac River for approximately 1.5 hours to the Cambodian border.

Biking guides are first aid qualified and can maintain bikes. Their role is to deliver a safe and enjoyable tour to the clients, they manage the group, co ordinate the driver and support vehicle, buy snacks and fruit along the way, look out for clients needs. They are cultural guides as well as pure biking.

Next to our guides, the most important essential we provide is equipment. Mountainbikes are definitely the most useful type of bicycle on all terrains we cycle. As we always aim to cycle the less explored roads, it means we also often have to conquer the challenges of potholes and unpaved roads. The mountainbikes we provide are international standard bikes and maintained by our guide team themselves.

Private air-conditioned for a group from pick up and all support until drop off at the end (one 16 seater regarding group size of 1-5. One 25 seaters from 6-9, one 35 seater regarding group size 9-10 and one 45 seaters for group size of 11 – 16). We may use truck(s) along with van to carry bikes & bikers in some road condition.

Meals in local restaurants as mentioned in the itinerary. (B= Breakfast, L= Lunch, D= Dinner)(depending on condition of local area, we have picnic for lunch sometimes).  Vegetarians and vegans are well-catered for and should you have any other dietary restrictions, please just inform us before hand and we will strive to meet them.

Water, snacks, fresh fruits, cool towel for cycling days.

Planning your journey is one of the joys of travel, so enjoy contemplating what you want out of your holiday.
